Final Group Meeting for the transregional research centre TRR33 "The Dark Universe"

This is a meeting of the research centre TRR33 between U Bonn, U Heidelberg, LMU Munich as well as the MPE and MPA-ESO from Munich. After 12 years of successful collaboration, the TRR33 will finish in end of June 2018. This meeting is about summarising the works of the current ongoing sub-projects (see programme).

The TRR33 meeting will take place in Heidelberg, Germany, between May 14-16, 2018. We aim at having at least one presentation for each of the current 18 sub-projects of the TRR33, to be given by one of the PI's or by a representative (postdoc or PhD student).

Apart of scientific exchange during the conference, there will be also a Conference Dinner on May 15, at the Gasthaus Backmulde (old town Heidelberg; Schiffgasse 11).

The meeting will start on Monday, May 14 at 12:30 pm with a Welcoming Lunch; talks will begin at 2 pm.

Apart from Monday, talks will be presented between 9 am - 12:30 pm, and, after a lunch break, continue at 2 pm until 6 pm. On May 15 (4 pm) there will be a PI meeting. The conference finishes on Wednesday, May 16 at 6 pm.

The meeting is open only to TRR33 associates.

Location:

The meeting will take place at the Internationales Wissenschaftsforum (IWH) Heidelberg located in Heidelberg's old town (Hauptstraße 242, 69117 Heidelberg).

Registration remains open until the maximum capacity has been reached. There is no registration fee. Accommodation and conference dinner must be paid locally, followed by reimbursement through the individual TRR33 travel budgets together with the travel cost.

Accommodation:

We have secured rooms within the IWH as well as at hotels nearby the IWH. If you are interested in a room, please state so on the registration form. We will distribute the rooms on a first come first serve basis, and will inform you about the arrangements via email. For further assistance please get in contact with the TRR33 secretary (email to Tina Kuka).

Lunches will be provided at IWH for all participants. If you have any dietary requirements, please fill in the dedicated area on the registration form.
