Title: The string landscape and the swampland

Abstract

I will discuss light and strange baryons obtained within the Dyson-Schwinger/Bethe-Salpeter approach. With a few exceptions, their spectra can be well reproduced and interpreted from their underlying diquark structure. The formalism also provides a path towards addressing multiquark systems. As an example I will focus on the light scalar mesons, where the solution of a four-body equation suggests that the sigma meson and its multiplet partners can be understood as meson molecules with an admixture of genuine four-quark components.
