Title: Towards a UV-complete Standard Model: From baryogenesis to asymptotic safety

Abstract

In this talk I will discus two aspects of the UV completion of the Standard Model. First, a UV completion should address all observed phenomenology, for example the present matter- antimatter asymmetry in the universe. I'll show how the demand of electroweak baryogenesis leads to a measurable enhancement of the Higgs self-couplings within a wide range of beyond the Standard Model physics. Second, a UV completion necessarily needs to include quantum gravity that governs the physics beyond the Planck scale. I'll introduce the concept of asymptotically safe quantum gravity and present recent progress towards a fully coupled Standard Model with quantum gravity.
