Inclusive cross-sections in relativistic and non-relativistic QED

The infrared problem in perturbative quantum electrodynamics was resolved by Jauch and Rohrlich with the help of the concept of inclusive collision cross-sections. On the non-perturbative side, this concept proved useful in the axiomatic approach to the infrared problem. Relying on these developments, we present first steps towards a construction of inclusive cross-sections in models of non-relativistic QED.
