Functional Renormalisation Group flows in gauge theories

Jan Martin Pawlowski

Content of lecture series

An introduction to functional renormalisation group (FRG) flows for gauge theories is given. The method is then applied to the low energy sector of QCD. In particular the confinement-deconfinemt phase transition and chiral symmetry breaking is discussed.

Topics in key words:

  • Path intgeral for gauge theories

  • Functional RG for gauge theories

  • Optimisation of FRG-flows

  • FRG-flows for low energy QCD
