   The course is an introduction to Cosmology. Suggested prerequisites: General Relativity (although it is not strictly necessary).

   NOTE: Course begins on October 19th, 2021, 9:15 am

   Exercise classes start from the week after the beginning of the course, details to be announced later on. You can work alone or in pairs. The exercises will be graded and you have to pass a minimum threshold to be admitted to the final exam. Exercise sheets will be posted here in due time.

   First Exam February 14, Philosophenweg 12, Great Lecture Hall, 2pm-5pm (In presence)    
Rules: you can bring a A4 sheet with all the handwritten formulas you can fit on both sides. You can bring a handpocket calculator without wifi or any other connection. You cannot bring in the exam room any cellphones, laptops, tablets or any other device that can connect to the internet or make calls. The exam will consist of exercises and/or theory questions. Persons with special needs should contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements.

   Sections of lecture notes effectively covered in the course: chapters 1 to 12 of the script, except 5.3, 5.4, 9.6, 9.7, 12.4, 12.7


   

   Second Exam 13.05.2022 14:00 INF 227 HS1 (In presence) You can attend the second exam only if a) you did not show up or did not hand in the exam sheet at the first exam; or b) you failed the first exam.
