Lattice field theories
Tutor: Felipe Attanasio
Lectures: Tuesday 09:15-11:00, gHS Pw 12 [LSF]
Tutorial: Tuesday 16:15-18:00, kHS Pw 12 [LSF]
Current Modus: onsite Lectures, onsite Tutorial
Prerequisites: Theoretical Physics I-IV (in particular Statistical Physics), basic knowledge of QFT
Content of lecture series
The lecture course provides an introduction to lattice field theories. Physics applications are
strongly correlated systems ranging from the phase structure of spin systems, scalar theories and
fermionic systems to non-Abelian gauge theories and QCD.
