Robert-Wichard-Pohl-Preis for Prof. Dr. Matthias Bartelmann
This year's Robert Wichard Pohl Prize for outstanding achievements in the dissemination of scientific knowledge in teaching, instruction, and the didactics of physics goes to Prof. Dr. Matthias Bartelmann of Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg for his outstanding research in theoretical astrophysics and cosmology, which has had a broad impact on the promotion of physics through several excellent textbooks on theoretical physics and numerous popular science articles.
